Luke Graham

Head of Research - Pi Labs

Luke joined Pi Labs as Research Lead from the University of Oxford’s Future of Real Estate Initiative. He has conducted research on global PropTech innovations, property investment, data issues, environmental sustainability, as well as social issues impacting the asset class. His background also includes the advisory of PropTech and real estate start-ups in Europe, Africa, and Australia.

Luke’s interest in real estate research began by listening to audiobooks while deployed on military operations in his early-20s. This soon led to academic studies, followed by a role as research analyst for an Australian property investment group. Luke then co-founded a research and investment brokerage which successfully merged operations in 2018.

At Pi Labs (In today’s hyper-connected world, new technologies are causing tectonic shifts in the built environment), Luke is researching themes relevant to their funds. This includes nascent technologies related to sustainability and the digitalisation of real estate and construction.

Luke has a Bachelor of Commerce (Property) from Western Sydney University, as well as postgraduate qualifications in economics and change management from the University of New South Wales. He is currently completing an Executive MBA at the University of Oxford.
